Children’s Theatre

OTA Children’s Theatre offers one week workshops during school holiday breaks and ten week class sessions after school between holiday breaks. There are also production opportunities during the summer months.

FALL CHILDREN’S THEATRE CLASSES

Jellybeans

Returns on Tuesdays, beginning September 10th – November 12th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. , ages 4-8. This ten week class session with Lorra Cornetet explores the wonders of creative story-telling and theatre basics through imaginative, interactive games. The final class ends with a showcase presentation to parents and invited guests where these enthusiastic thespians show us what they have learned. To sign up, CLICK HERE.

The Mystery of the Missing Artifact!

Starts on Wednesdays, beginning September 11th – November 13th from 3:30-5:30 p.m., ages 8-18. This ten week class session builds confidence in acting, voice and spacial awareness wrapped into a fun mystery “Who Dunnit” in a collaborative project. Special opportunities abound – be a supporting cast member in OTA’s mystery dinner theatre, Oct. 25 & 26 or The Halloween Walk on Oct. 31. To sign up, CLICK HERE.


WINTER CHILDREN’S THEATRE WORKSHOP

The Tidepool Times continues!

Runs from December 30th, 2019 – January 4, 2020, ages 8-18. This one week class is the next chapter written by OTACT Workshop kids last Summer, will be cast, rehearsed, performed and filmed for entrance in the Rivers and Ocean Film Festival! To sign up, CLICK HERE.
