Reader's Theatre: Birth
April 13th & 14th at 6:00pm

Olympic Theatre Arts Readers Theatre Program continues the season with Birth, directed by Susan Fahlgren.
Birth gives voice to the story of childbirth as told by mothers - an experience previously overlooked on stage. Through the play, a deeper awareness of childbirth issues emerges, contributing to the conversation about improving the experience for women and their babies.
Performance Runs May 8th - 10th

A staged reading offers audiences a chance to experience a play in its purest form — through the spoken word. In this reader's theatre format, performers refer to scripts rather than working from memory, allowing the focus to rest on language, character, and storytelling. With minimal movement and no elaborate sets or costumes, the imagination becomes the primary stage.
